Afternoon: Start your day by heading to Muizz Street, one of the oldest streets in Cairo and home to many historic buildings.
Walking Tour: Take a leisurely walk along Muizz Street and explore the stunning architecture and historical landmarks. Highlights include the Al-Hakim Mosque, the Al-Aqmar Mosque, and the Qalawun Complex. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a hat and sunscreen as it can get hot.
Lunch: After your walking tour, stop at a local restaurant and try traditional Egyptian food such as koshari or shawarma.
Khan El-Khalili Bazaar: After lunch, head to the famous Khan El-Khalili Bazaar to experience Cairo’s bustling and vibrant atmosphere. Shop for souvenirs, spices, and jewelry while enjoying the lively street performers and musicians. You can sit in a local cafe called Al Fishawi to drink some fantastic Egyptian local drinks.
