After a delicious breakfast at your accommodation, you will start your wonderful day tour to Fayoum by meeting your private tour guide specializing in Egyptology in a private A/C vehicle to start visiting the following:
Wadi El Rayan
Wadi El Rayan is one of the most famous nature reserves in Egypt. It is less than two hours away from Cairo. Wadi El Rayan Nature Reserve is part of Fayoum Governorate, about 75 km from Fayoum. It was named after King Al-Rayyan bin Al-Walid, who lived in the area with his army.
Lake Qarun
Lake Qarun is a protected area not only because of how beautiful it is and how important it is to birds and people but also because of how important it is historically, naturally, and scientifically. And because it is one of Egypt’s most beautiful and well-known natural sights.
Fayoum waterfalls
There are waterfalls in Fayoum other than those in Wadi El-Rayyan. Amidst the lush green fields of Fayoum Governorate, a system of seven waterfalls is hidden magically. The falls are located in Manshit Zafer, also known as the Mixed Village, in the administrative center of Itsa. These waterfalls result from the unique topography of Faiyum, which slopes steeply from south to north for a distance of 67 meters at 35 kilometers toward Lake Qarun.
Lunch
Before continuing, we will take a break to eat and recharge. Lunch will be in a restaurant, and Egyptian food options are generally offered, including meat dishes, rice, and salads (drinks are not included).
Tunisia village
The small village of Tunis, also called Ezbet Tunis, is on the Wadi El Rayan road in the oasis of Fayoum. The village is on a hill overlooking a large saltwater lake and a beautiful view of the desert on the other side of the lake.
After these fruitful visits, we will return you to your accommodation in Cairo to relax and spend a peaceful night.
