After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your accommodation, your full-day tour to Fayoum begins. You will meet your private Egyptologist guide and travel in a comfortable private A/C vehicle to explore the following highlights:
Wadi El Rayan
Wadi El Rayan is one of Egypt’s most famous nature reserves, located less than two hours from Cairo. Part of Fayoum Governorate, about 75 km from Fayoum city, the reserve was named after King Al-Rayyan bin Al-Walid, who once lived in the area with his army. The reserve is known for its stunning landscapes, waterfalls, and unique natural beauty.
Lake Qarun
Lake Qarun is a protected natural area renowned for its scenic beauty and ecological significance. The lake is important for birds, wildlife, and humans, and it holds historical, natural, and scientific value. It is considered one of Egypt’s most beautiful and well-known natural landmarks.
Fayoum Waterfalls
Fayoum is home to a series of seven hidden waterfalls, located in Manshit Zafer (Mixed Village) near Itsa. These waterfalls emerge from the region’s unique topography, which slopes steeply over 35 km toward Lake Qarun, creating a magical natural spectacle amidst the lush green fields of Fayoum.
Lunch
Pause for a relaxing Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant, featuring traditional dishes such as meat dishes, rice, and fresh salads. (Drinks are not included.)
Tunis Village
Visit the small village of Tunis (Ezbet Tunis), located on Wadi El Rayan road. Perched on a hill, the village offers panoramic views of a large saltwater lake on one side and the desert on the other, making it a perfect spot for photos and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
After this enriching day in Fayoum, you will be transferred back to your accommodation in Cairo to relax and enjoy a peaceful evening.
