After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your accommodation, your full-day tour begins. You will meet your private Egyptologist guide and travel in a comfortable private A/C vehicle to explore the following highlights:
Islamic Cairo
Cairo is famously known as the “City of a Thousand Minarets” due to its countless mosques and Islamic monuments. During your tour, you will visit remarkable sites such as the Muhammad Ali Mosque, Sultan Hassan Mosque, Ahmed Ibn Tulun Mosque, Al-Rifai Mosque, Al-Hussein Mosque, and many other historic landmarks, each showcasing Cairo’s rich Islamic heritage and stunning architecture.
Lunch
We will pause for a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant, offering traditional Egyptian dishes such as grilled meats, rice, and fresh salads. (Drinks are not included.)
Coptic Cairo
Your afternoon continues in Coptic Cairo, a unique area that preserves Egypt’s Christian heritage. Explore ancient churches and temples, including the Hanging Church, St. George Church, Bani Ezra Synagogue, Saint Barbara Church, and the Coptic Museum, each revealing fascinating insights into Egypt’s religious history.
After this enriching day, we will transfer you back to your accommodation to relax and enjoy a peaceful evening.
