Giza Pyramids
The Great Pyramids of Giza are one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the most famous. The three main pyramids in Giza are the Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. There are also some other pyramids in the area for the wives of kings.
The Great Sphinx of Giza
The Great Sphinx of Giza is the giant Egyptian sculpture ever. Carved in the limestone of the Giza Plateau, it depicts a lion with a human head wearing a headdress. Over the centuries, the Sphinx has lost its chin and its original reddish color.
Lunch
Before continuing, we will take a break to eat and recharge. Lunch will be in a restaurant, and Egyptian food options are generally offered, including meat dishes, rice, and salads (drinks are not included).
Grand Egyptian Museum
It is the world’s largest and most modern museum dedicated to ancient Egypt. Its highlight is the complete treasures of Tutankhamun, displayed together for the first time, including gold jewelry, chariots, ceremonial objects, and personal belongings. Explore other galleries featuring statues, sarcophagi, and artifacts that reveal the daily life, beliefs, and art of ancient Egypt.
After these fruitful visits, we will return you to your accommodation to relax and spend a peaceful night.
